Duty description:

The Transportation Corps is responsible for moving supplies, state guard members, and equipment anywhere within the state of Tennessee as required by the guard mission. Transportation Officers are experts in the systems, vehicles, and procedures in moving troops and supplies.

The responsibilities of a transportation officer include commanding and controlling transportation operations during state guard training or activation/deployment and coordinating employment of transportation troops at all levels of command, from platoon to battalion.
